GREEN MOBILITY

Programme status: Programme Development

Prepare skills for the future of mobility.

Electric mobility is creating new technologies, new service requirements and new livelihood opportunities.

Prashastaa is developing a progressive technical-skills pathway designed to help learners understand electric vehicles safely and move from basic knowledge toward practical service, maintenance, diagnostics and entrepreneurship capabilities.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

Technical capability grounded in safety.

To develop a skilled workforce capable of safely supporting the service, maintenance and growing technical ecosystem of electric mobility while creating pathways toward employment, apprenticeship and entrepreneurship.

This developing Foundation programme does not claim accreditation or statutory technical authority.

WHO IT IS FOR

Different entry points, appropriate prerequisites.

Potential learners may arrive with very different experience. Each level may set its own readiness, safety and prior-learning requirements.

No engineering degree is necessarily required for the introductory level. This does not mean every level is open to every learner.

PLANNED TRAINING PATHWAY

EV SAFETY MODEL

Skill must grow with responsibility.

Task boundaries must be based on demonstrated competency and qualified oversight—not confidence alone.

GREEN TASKS

Demonstrated competency

May be performed independently only after the required competency has been demonstrated.

AMBER TASKS

Qualified supervision

Requires a qualified instructor or technician to supervise the work.

RED TASKS

Authorised personnel only

Restricted to appropriately qualified and authorised personnel.

HIGH-VOLTAGE BOUNDARY

High-voltage repair is not a beginner skill.

High-voltage work requires separate competency, safety procedures, appropriate PPE, isolation protocols and qualified supervision. Inexperienced learners must not open or experiment with high-voltage battery systems.

PROPOSED ASSESSMENT

Safety leads the 100-point framework.

Critical safety failures require retraining regardless of the overall score.

Safety25 points25 out of 100
Technical Knowledge20 points20 out of 100
Practical Servicing30 points30 out of 100
Diagnostics / Problem Solving15 points15 out of 100
Professional / Workshop Discipline10 points10 out of 100

LIVELIHOOD PATHWAYS

Employment and enterprise are both meaningful destinations.

Neither path guarantees a role or income. Opportunity depends on demonstrated capability, eligibility and availability.
